Not at all. Anyone who wishes to buy your digital products do not need to create a Payhip account. They only need to go to the seller’s store, select the item they want to buy, and go through checkout. 🙂

We don’t have a way to add Google AdSense or other advertising programs to our blog at this point in time. It’s something that has come up from other customers before, though, so I’ve added you as another vote for that. I’m not able to say if/when we might implement that at this stage but please know that it’s on our radar.

Yes, it’s possible to sell made-to-order digital products using custom checkout questions. With this, you’ll be able to ask your own set of questions to your customers during the checkout process to help personalize your customers’ orders. When the transaction is completed, they’ll be taken to their download page so it might be a good idea to upload a text file (or any file) explaining they’ll get their file within XX hours/days.

Are you referring to rental or streaming options? Payhip isn’t quite designed for this kind of service just yet. Although you could upload the videos as digital products or you could just set up payment plans on Payhip (as we make it easy for sellers to set up payments since they can decide how to charge their customers and we only take a small fee for every transaction made) and then have the content hosted someplace else. Sorry I know it’s not ideal, but if you think this setup is something that can work for you – then feel free to sign up for an account with us. There’s no cost at all in joining. 🙂
